-sigh- on Friday, i had a Christian School's Carnival for Netball Tournament.
All the schools that were competing each had 2 teams for the middle school and 2 teams for the senior division. I had to wake up at 6 am and get to school before Halfpast 7 for training, and busing to Underwood Park, where the netballers played. I loved the weather in the morning.. there was fog everywhere and you couldn't see further than 20 metres, just amazing. Before on wednesday, our teams were chosen, and we decided a name for my team. we were all huddled up with my coach and she was like, 'so, what sort of name do you want?' people suggested something fast, or powerful. 'tigers?' called a random, 'lions !' said another. then i was thinking of the movie, Napoleon Dynamite so i called out, 'LIGERS' in a sarcastic and jokey way.. and suddenly, everyone was like, OHYEAH, SUPER, WHOA, YES, YAY, OMG, OMFK. which sort of stunned me, cause i was really only joking, but we went with it. LOL. so anyway, on Friday, there were 5 games available to win, not including the Semi-finale and the Grand-finale. we won four games and lost to a really slutty school. They were really snobby and screwed up lankys. ohwell, LOL. I realised i drank 3 different types of energy drink, so i was basically on liquid weed. haha. After our games, every other school left and it was only us. We had heaps of Ice leftover from keeping the water bottles cool, so.. ICE FIGHT. we were stuffing ice into people's bras and back- it was really fun, the only thing that killed it, was the really annoying grass and dirt under my clothes from the ice that had been on the floor. i also felt really wet from the melted ice, but it was all good. after the fight, we had photos. Our uniform is like one of those full body suits that professional netballers wear, (okay i sound really stuckup, but im being legit) and the skirts go way before your knees and its a thick strap singlet. It feels like a swimming suit so you can run real fast in it :D OH AND AND AND AND when you lift up the skirts, its like underpants which is really.. skanky but, whats worse is on the right butt cheek, there is our school initials- so, so sad. anyway back to the photos, we had to do random poses and jump stunts and flash butts with our school's name.. i really hope these aren't on the school's website. really. After leaving the place, we went to McDonalds and everyone in my school's netball teams got a free soft serve. yaaaaaaay. i asked if i could buy a frozen coke, cause i bought money, and one of the teaches was like, NAO. WE HAVE NO TIME SO JUST STAY SEATED. i got sad. but my coach, which was the teacher's younger sister said i'll buy it for you.. :D which made me aw :), i was happy. so i gave her my wallet and she went on her way.. but i really felt peckish, so i quickly dragged the window open and yelled out, CAN YOU MAKE IT A LAAAAAAAARGE PLEASE. after, i felt really bad holding the large coke, because i felt like i was the only one buying extra. i sao fat. :( we got back to school, and everyone was asking me where i got the coke, explained and shared it with them. it was a day before my Bestfriend's birthday, and i didn't get to see her for the whole day D: ! so i went up to her and hugged her for a good 5 minutes, wished her a happy birthday and a great one. its her combined party next week with her 'soon to be' boyfriend- which is totally adorable ! i got home, and i saw that i had a major tan/burn from the sun. it was so gross and now i have a sock, skirt, singlet and neck line. eurgh.
anyway, ending on a happy note, i don't knonw why, but im looking forward to school tmrw :)
